Turkish giants Besiktas are keen on landing Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo on loan for 18 months, according to Sabah.
Mainoo has endured a tough campaign with the Red Devils and he has yet to make a Premier League start due to competition and injuries.
There has been plenty of speculation over his future in recent weeks and reports claim that he could leave on a temporary basis this winter.
Besiktas have now emerged as potential candidates to sign him and it is claimed that they have proposed to land him on loan for 18 months.
However, it is highly unlikely that United will consider the approach, given they are short in the midfield department and have no signings lined up.
Mainoo could also snub a move to the Istanbul giants, given the switch may not boost his prospects of making England's World Cup squad.
Hence, a deal is unlikely to materialise before the deadline. Besiktas may have to look elsewhere to strengthen their midfield department.
