Chelsea are expected to announce the appointment of a new manager in the next 24 hours, according to L'Equipe.
The Blues parted ways with Enzo Maresca earlier this week and they were under the interim management of Calum McFarlane against Manchester City.
The west London giants were second-best in the opening half, but came up with a much improved performance after the break to share the spoils.
Chelsea are now poised to announce Maresca's successor with reports claiming that Liam Rosenior has arrived in London to pen his contract.
The former Premier League ace has been in charge of Chelsea's sister club Strasbourg, and has now been awarded with the Blues vacancy.
Rosenior does not have a huge reputation at the management level, but the Blues' hierarchy are prepared to trust him to lead the ship.
There has been a mixed response regarding this from the fans, and it remains to be seen whether Rosenior can turnaround the season.
