Tottenham and Chelsea have emerged as targets for Benjamin Brantlind, who had been linked with a transfer to PSV Eindhoven this January, as the London clubs are weighing up transfer bids for the 17-year-old central midfielder. The IFK Gothenburg youngster has appeared for Sweden's under-17 and under-19 side and forved his way into IFK's starting XI in recent times, and a price tag of £6.5 million has been suggested to complete a transfer deal.
Brantlind has appeared 12 times in the Allsvenskan this season, scoring one goal and a return of two assists, catching the eye of numerous top European clubs.
Operating primarily as an attacking midfielder, the teenager prefers to play centrally but can also start on the right-hand side of the pitch, and international honours for Sweden's senior side are expected soon.
Chelsea are weighing up a bid this week, and Tottenham have already been in contact with IFK for a potential transfer deal, with manager Thomas Frank said to be have personally monitored the youngster's recent form and progress.
