Manchester United have set their sights on landing Nottingham Forest defender Murillo as a replacement for Harry Maguire next summer, as per The Daily Mail.
The Red Devils are likely to bolster their central defensive department with the prospect of at least one exit. Maguire's current deal expires on June 30 and he could leave on a free transfer.
The Daily Mail claim that Murillo has been eyed as his successor. The Brazilian signed a new deal with the Tricky Trees last winter, but he is determined to secure a bigger challenge.
United are one of the many contenders for the talented ace. Chelsea are likewise keen on his signature and there could be a bidding battle.
It is claimed that the Red Devils could have an upper hand over the Blues, particularly if they manage to qualify for the Champions League.
Murillo could cost around 50 million pounds, but reports have previously claimed that Forest could also demand a much higher package.
