Leeds United are reportedly exploring a free transfer for Manchester United defender Tyrell Malacia during the summer.
The Dutchman has been a fringe player for the Red Devils and looks set to leave on a free when his contract expires on June 30.
He has been linked with multiple clubs in England and abroad, and Sportsboom claim that Leeds are lining up a contract offer too.
Gabriel Gudmundsson and Sam Byram are currently the specialist left-back options at the Whites, while James Justin can play in the role if required.
Byram's current deal expires at the end of the season, and it is claimed that Malacia could be signed as a replacement for the next campaign.
Preliminary talks have been held with the player's agents, but a deal can't be finalised until the end of the season when his contract expires.
Malacia was touted to move to Spain in January but a deal did not materialise following a long-term injury for Patrick Dorgu.
