Chelsea striker Marc Guiu is not pushing for a potential move away during the summer transfer window, according to Simon Johnson.
The Spaniard has had a difficult campaign with the Blues and he has hardly played for them due to the fierce competition for places upfront.
Joao Pedro is currently the first-choice striker in the Premier League and Champions League games, while Liam Delap has been his deputy.
Guiu has found himself as the third-choice and there has been speculation that he is pushing for a new challenge away from the Blues this summer.
This has not been dismissed by Johnson, who claims that the former Barcelona graduate is focused on ending the season on a positive note.
He has not expressed his desire to leave the London giants, though his stance could change when the transfer window reopens in a few months.
The 20-year-old has managed only 550 minutes in the ongoing campaign for the Blues. He has chipped in with three goals and two assists.
