Manchester United defender Noussair Mazraoui picked up a fresh injury during the 2-1 Premier League loss to Newcastle United on the road last night.
The Moroccan made his first start under manager Michael Carrick yesterday and he played through 85 minutes before being substituted. He was spotted limping off the field.
The versatile full-back was spotted in a similar situation while leaving the mixed room and reports suggest that he may have picked up a concerning injury against the Magpies.
Diogo Dalot was replaced by Mazraoui at right-back against the Magpies and it remains to be seen whether the Portuguese is reinstated into the starting XI for the next match.
United won't be back in action until mid-March against Aston Villa at Old Trafford. Hence, they have an extended break and should offer time for Mazraoui to try and recover.
The Red Devils are presently third in the league standings with 51 points, ahead of Aston Villa on goal difference.
