Manchester United and Liverpool could compete for the signature of Juventus midfielder Khephren Thuram during the summer transfer window, according to Tuttosport.
The Frenchman has been a key player for the Bianconeri for the past few years but his future has come into question over the last couple of weeks.
United and Liverpool are closely monitoring the former Nice man and could make summer approaches to prise him away from the Turin giants.
Juventus, on their part, are determined to keep hold of his services and are prepared to increase his annual wages from €2.4 million to €3.8 million per year.
The Bianconeri have already started discussing terms with his agent and remain optimistic of striking an agreement before the end of the campaign.
Thuram was signed for just €20 million by Juventus. They are not contemplating his exit but things could change later in the year.
If the club don't qualify for the Champions League, they could be compelled to consider his departure for a premium transfer fee.
