Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has fueled further speculation over his future by admitting his desire to stay in Madrid.
The Argentina international is said to be frustrated at the Blues and could push for a bigger challenge at the end of the campaign.
Real Madrid are known to be among his admirers and reports claim that they could make a big-money move for his services.
Fernandez has refused to rule out a move away from the Blues and he has now talked up a potential summer switch to Madrid.
He said: "I’d like to live in Spain, I really like Madrid; it reminds me of Buenos Aires. Players live where they want. I’d live in Madrid. I get by in English, but I’d be more comfortable in Spanish."
Chelsea are unlikely to let go of Fernandez on the cheap and reports claim that they could demand at least 100 million pounds to sanction his sale.
Madrid could make an approach at the end of the campaign.
