Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga during the summer transfer window, according to Sky Sport Switzerland.
The Frenchman has been linked with a possible departure from Los Blancos with the club's hierarchy planning a marquee signing for the next transfer window.
Liverpool and Arsenal are eyeing an elite addition to their ranks and it is claimed that they are best positioned to sign Camavinga when the campaign concludes.
The La Liga giants are prepared to sanction his sale for around €80 million, but there is a twist with the player not keen on pursuing a new challenge away from them.
Camavinga sees his future at the Madrid heavyweights and does not see himself leaving the club during this summer's transfer window.
In that case, Liverpool and Arsenal have little to no chance of signing him unless there is a change of stance heading into the summer period.
Madrid could still pursue a marquee midfield acquisition.
