Manchester United have been urged to sign Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson to replace Casemiro at the end of the season.

  • Enzo Fernandez makes Chelsea contract decision
  • Chelsea ready to launch move for Barcelona star

  • The Red Devils are expected to pursue a marquee midfield addition this summer with Casemiro set to leave on a free transfer.

Anderson has been linked with the club on many occasions and speaking on his YouTube channel, Ferdinand talked up the possible signing.

The United legend believes Anderson would be a perfect acquisition for the Red Devils, and the club must do what it takes to bring him in.

Anderson has yet to decide on his future and recently said that he is in no rush to sort out his next move before the summer World Cup.

However, United and Manchester City are pushing for a quick deal before the tournament, and the latter are leading the player's pursuit.

Man City have already held concrete talks with his entourage and remain confident of striking a deal worth £100m for the Englishman.
