Amidst this, the Blues have their sights on landing Ederson from Atalanta as a replacement, but are set to face fierce competition in the pursuit.

Atletico Madrid have already agreed personal terms with the 26-year-old and could act as a stumbling block in the pursuit of the Brazilian.

Atalanta are ready to sell him for around €35 million this summer, considering he has no plans to extend his deal expiring next year.
