Arsenal and Liverpool are keen on landing Celta Vigo left-back Oscar Mingueza on a free transfer this summer, according to Teamtalk.
The 26-year-old has been a key player for the La Liga outfit, who are pushing for Champions League football with a top-five league finish.
Despite this, the versatile full-back could be on his way out. Mingueza is being closely monitored by the Gunners and Reds ahead of the summer.
The former Barcelona man started his career as a central defender, but has played as a left-back and right-back for Celta in the current season.
His versatility is a prime reason behind the high-profile interest.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal or Liverpool can tempt him, considering he may not be a guaranteed starter for either of those clubs next term.
Mingueza may have to accept a reduced rotational role. Both Arsenal and Liverpool are free to discuss a pre-contract with Mingueza, as things stand.
