Chelsea defender Jorrel Hato has said that the Blues still have a chance to qualify for the Champions League next season despite their heavy loss to Manchester City at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues succumbed to a disappointing 3-0 loss to the Cityzens at home earlier on Sunday. They were outsmarted after the interval and were guilty of making some costly defensive errors.
Speaking after the game, Hato said that the Blues must improve in their final six matches of the season in order to stand a chance of qualifying for the Champions League next term.
He said: "We still have a chance [to qualify for the Champions League]. It has to be better in the next six games. We have to improve. Forget this one quickly and onto next week."
Chelsea are four points behind Liverpool for the final Champions League spot (fifth in the Premier League). They face a tough challenge against Manchester United next weekend.
