Hall to Arsenal?

Arsenal favourites to sign £55m star ahead of Liverpool

14 April 2026 - 21:10

Arsenal have emerged as the frontrunners to land Newcastle United left-back Lewis Hall ahead of Liverpool during the summer transfer window.

  • Chelsea defender back in training ahead of Man Utd game
  • Chelsea keen on re-signing former graduate

  • The Gunners are expected to make several signings at the end of the campaign, and the focus could be on multiple departments.

It is now claimed that Arsenal are seriously interested in landing Hall and have an upper hand over Liverpool in the transfer pursuit.

Hall has been a key player for the Magpies in recent years, but he is expected to head for the exit door as the club may need to balance their books.

Newcastle look on course to miss out on Champions League football, and this could pave the way for a couple of high-profile departures.

Hall is deemed as one of the sellable assets in the squad, and he could be purchased for a package of around £55 million this summer.

Arsenal have been linked, but a deal would be a surprise.

The Gunners have Riccardo Calafiori, Piero Hincapie and Myles Lewis-Skelly for the position at the current moment in time.

Hincapie will be signed permanently after his loan spell from Bayer Leverkusen. Even if Lewis-Skelly is sold, they have sufficient depth.
