Chelsea are seven points adrift of fifth-placed Liverpool and need something of a miracle to recover the deficit in the final five games.
United, on the other hand, are just one or two wins away from Champions League football, which puts them in the driving seat for Sadiki.
Sadiki has also been linked with Tottenham Hotspur in the past, but they are no longer a destination for him due to their relegation threat.
