Chelsea have earmarked Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola as a frontrunner to replace Liam Rosenior as their next head coach this summer.
The west London giants recently parted ways with Rosenior after a dreadful run of five straight defeats in the league. Calum McFarlane has been placed on temporary charge for the remainder of the campaign.
In the meantime, the Blues have already started the search for a replacement and plan to appoint a new manager as soon as the season ends, so they can plan effectively for the summer transfer window.
Amidst this, it is claimed that Iraola is emerged as a top-class candidate on the back of the progress made at Bournemouth, who are currently seventh in the league standings with 49 points from 34 matches.
Iraola has confirmed his desire to choose a fresh challenge when his contract expires this summer, and it remains to be seen whether the Spaniard is tempted to take over at the Blues.
