Chelsea are prepared to compete with Arsenal to sign Bournemouth attacker Junior Kroupi in the upcoming transfer window, according to The Independent.
The 19-year-old has had a sensational debut season with the South Coast outfit. He has netted 13 Premier League goals from just 1,600 minutes.
Kroupi has been excellent with his finishing as a striker or an attacking midfielder and recently scored against Manchester City in a 1-1 draw.
That goal secured a long-awaited league title for the Gunners, and they are now exploring a big-money move for the Frenchman this summer.
However, they won't be alone in the player's pursuit. Chelsea could provide fierce competition for the teenager, who could cost at least £80 million.
Manchester United have also been linked with his services in the past, but they are no longer exploring him due to the need to spend in their midfield.
Bournemouth have been a selling club in the past, but there is expectation that could change, having qualified for European football for the first time.
