AC Milan legend Paolo Maldini has signed a new deal with the Rossoneri. The Italian full back was expected to retire this year, but the club have confirmed he has signed a new one year contract.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  • Maldini has spent his entire career at the San Siro playing for AC Milan, and this summer the curtain was expected to come down on Maldini's illustrious career.

However, he has shocked many by deciding to sign for Milan for another one year contract.

There had been rumours for some time that Maldini would reconsider retirement, and the defender is believed to have received a bumper pay cheque as reward for deciding to stay on.
