Manchester United have reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign midfielder Andrey Santos, according to David Ornstein.
The Red Devils have already secured a verbal deal for Atalanta's Ederson and are now poised to land the signature of Santos from the Blues.
They have finalised a deal worth £48 million plus £2m in add-ons, and personal terms have also been agreed with the Brazilian ace.
Santos will travel to Carrington tomorrow to undergo his medical tests before putting pen to paper on a long-term contract with the Red Devils.
United have landed a huge coup in the 22-year-old, given the potential shown during his time on loan with Strasbourg in the French top-flight.
Santos made 15 goal contributions for the Ligue 1 side in 2024/25 and also contributed defensively. He captained the club on several occasions.
His time at Chelsea was a mixed bag last term, but he definitely has the potential to becone one of the leading midfielders in the division.
