Arsenal poised to land 24yo to replace Trossard

12 July 2026 - 20:24

Arsenal are poised to land the signature of Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis with Leandro Trossard having accepted to join Besiktas.

  • Chelsea planning to sign a new left winger
  • Chelsea stance on Jamie Gittens revealed

  • The Gunners recently reached an agreement to sell Trossard to Besiktas for 17 million pounds, and he has now agreed personal terms with them.

A formal announcement could be made next week and reports claim that Arsenal could now fast-forward their own pursuit of Tzolis as well.

The Greek has already agreed personal terms with the Gunners over a five-year deal and he could arrive for his medical in the coming days.

Tzolis had a brilliant 2025/26 campaign with the Belgian champions. The 24-year-old netted 22 goals and provided 29 assists from 52 appearances.

The Pro League is multiple levels below the Premier League, but Arsenal believe in his potential and feel he can make his mark in the division.

Tzolis is likely to be Arsenal's back-up choice on the left wing. The Gunners are keen on landing Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers as the prime choice.
