AC Milan manager Ruben Amorim has told the Rossoneri to pursue a deal for Manchester United defender Noussair Mazraoui this summer.
The Portuguese took charge of the Rossoneri earlier this month, and he is expected to be backed with plenty of high-profile signings.
Milan have already signed a marquee striker in Goncalo Ramos, and they are now keen on bolstering the wing-back department for Amorim.
The 41-year-old previously shared a good relationship with Mazraoui at United and has urged Milan to secure a deal for the Moroccan.
The Rossoneri believe the versatile full-back/wing-back could be signed for £13m, but the Red Devils are bound to demand a higher fee.
Mazraoui was exceptional as a left-back for Morocco at the World Cup and United may prefer to keep him unless a significant bid is made.
We would be surprised if the Red Devils contemplated his sale for less than £25m, given his versatility and strong defensive qualities.
