Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli is expected to undergo his medical with Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal on Wednesday.
The Gunners bolstered their left wing with Christos Tzolis after selling Leandro Trossard. They have been fancied to purchase another marquee solution for the role, but it appears that may not happen.
Still, the hierarchy have made the decision to offload Martinelli to Al-Hilal for a club-record £60 million. The transfer won't necessarily happen tonight with the Saudi transfer window open until the 6th of September.
Al-Hilal have plenty of time on their hands to conclude the deal, and reports claim that the formalities will be concluded tomorrow.
Arsenal have not sought a replacement for the Brazilian, and they don't plan to cancel the deal, should they not find one before tonight's deadline.
Martinelli is said to be frustrated by the club's decision to sell him. He is poised to pen a four-year deal with Al-Hilal after a successful medical.
