Chelsea and Liverpool have learnt the asking price to sign Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott during the winter transfer window.
Scott was the subject of immense interest from the Blues in the last transfer window, and they failed with an offer worth £64m for his services.
The Blues were already planning to make a renewed approach at the turn of the year, and they have been handed a boost, according to BBC Sport.
The outlet claim that the Cherries are prepared to part ways with Scott for around £100m following discussions with the player's entourage.
Scott has no desire to extend his contract beyond June 2028, and the South Coast outfit are therefore prepared to sell the England international.
That stance could change, however, if they are struggling at the bottom of the table. In that case, Scott could stay to help in their top-flight survival.
Alongside Chelsea, Liverpool remain interested in landing the talented midfielder. Manchester United and Arsenal have moved on from him.
