Florian Wirtz makes Chelsea transfer decision

Liverpool playmaker Florian Wirtz has no intention to leave the Reds for Chelsea or Bayern Munich, according to Teamtalk.

  • Chelsea stance on signing Alex Scott revealed
  • Man Utd plans for left-back signing revealed

  • The German signed for the Merseyside giants from Bayer Leverkusen for €125m in 2025, but he has since struggled to impress.

Wirtz has come up with the odd goal contribution for the Anfield club, but his performances have been below par for a substantial period.

This has led to speculation that he could pursue a new challenge, particularly with Chelsea and Bayern among his long-term admirers.

However, Wirtz has no desire to leave the Reds yet and believes he has the credentials to succeed as a Premier League player at the club.

He is unlikely to push for an exit at the end of the season, and it remains to be seen whether the Reds hold a similar stance on his future.

Wirtz has provided three assists in nine matches for the Reds this term. He will be in Champions League action against Villarreal tomorrow.
