Bolton to sign Muamba

Bolton are reportedly close to signing Birmingham City's midfielder Fabrice Muamba. The England under 21 international is being lined up to replace Ivan Campo; who left the club at the end of last season.

Alex McLeish has confessed he would like to hang on to most of his players, but Muamba will be shown the exit door after Bolton lodged a bid - believed to be in the region of £5 million.



It is understood that Fabrice Muamba's sale will bring on a resale clause for the Gunners who could make 25 per cent of the deal.



Muamba is one of the brightest midfield prospects in England.
