Bolton to sign Muamba

13 June 2008 - 16:59

Bolton are reportedly close to signing Birmingham City's midfielder Fabrice Muamba. The England under 21 international is being lined up to replace Ivan Campo; who left the club at the end of last season.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Alex McLeish has confessed he would like to hang on to most of his players, but Muamba will be shown the exit door after Bolton lodged a bid - believed to be in the region of £5 million.

It is understood that Fabrice Muamba's sale will bring on a resale clause for the Gunners who could make 25 per cent of the deal.

Muamba is one of the brightest midfield prospects in England.
