Veloso wants price reduced

Sporting Lisbon midfielder Miguel Veloso wants to see his pricetag reduced after £25 million figures were suggested. The Portuguese international wants his fee reduced so that other clubs make an offer for him.

Veloso said: "£25 million is a lot. I don't want to think about the prospect of a good offer arriving for me and Sporting saying 'no'.



"Up until now, I don't know if Sporting have been listening to offers for me.



"I've made it clear that I'm ready to move on, because many only value Portuguese players when they're playing outside the country."
