Benayoun to stay at Liverpool

24 June 2008 - 23:46

Israel international midfielder Yossi Benayoun is eager to stay at Liverpool, despite much renewed interest in his services this summer. It is understood that Portsmouth wish to land the midfielder.

  • Confirmed Liverpool line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Fulham, Barcola & Munoz start
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow against Sunderland
  • "There are three or four clubs in England willing to buy me after the season I have just had," Benayoun told the Jewish Chronicle. "But I want to stay at Liverpool until the end of my career.

"It really moves me when I go out on to the pitch at Anfield and the crowd start singing.”
