Arsenal in for Veloso?

Arsenal are reportedly in the market to land Miguel Veloso. It is understood that the club are set to pay a reported £10 million to land the player, but Sporting Lisbon are reluctant to let Veloso leave for less than £15 million.

"Actually, we did not have normal contact from the Arsenal board, but from a member of the technical staff at the club," Barbosa told Portuguese reporters.



"At the moment there is not a formal offer yet, but it is possible that will happen soon as Juventus and AC Milan have shown an equal interest in the player."
