Baptista to join Roma?

29 June 2008 - 10:21

Real Madrid striker Julio Baptista has admitted he could well be interested in moving to Italy from Spain. It is believed that Serie A runners up Roma are set to make a move for the 'Beast'.

  • Chelsea make first move to sign Bournemouth star
  • Real Madrid planning mega swoop for Chelsea star
  • Baptista is valued by Real Madrid at around £8 million, and has never established himself in the first-team regularly.

"I am on holiday in Brazil and I do not know anything," Baptista told Marca when asked about a possible move. "My plan at the moment is to stay in Madrid, but I do not know what can happen in the future and Roma is a great club."
