Briand angry with Rennes

Rennes forward Jimmy Briand has admitted he felt gutted by the club after a potential move to Paris St. Germain was blocked. Briand was due to complete a £7 million transfer away from Rennes.

"He (Dreossi) had told me to my face that he would open the door for me to leave at the end of the season if a good offer came in," the Frenchman told L'Equipe.



"Today, he says that door is closed. I can't accept that. We had a deal. I feel betrayed.



"I think I'm a kind, good natured person, but I hate injustice and when people lie to me.



"This can make me fly off the handle. People might say I'm temperamental but I don't care. I'm a good person, but this is pushing me to the edge."
