Getafe interested in Soldado

06 July 2008 - 17:51

Spanish club Getafe have expressed an open desire to sign the young Spanish striker Robert Soldado from Real Madrid this summer.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • Getafe president Angel Torres has declared that he rates the Real Madrid youngster very highly and that given a chance he would certainly sign the player.

"Soldado is a good player and in his position he would do very well with Getafe," said Torres.

Robert Soldado was in the Real Madrid first team last season but failed to feature regularly for Bernd Schuster's side and is expected to leave the club sooner or later.
