Roma hunt Sevilla's Maresca

Italian club AS Roma have confirmed that they are interested in signing the Sevilla FC midfielder Enzo Maresca this season.

Roma perceive him as a possible replacement for Simone Perrotta whose future at the Stadio Olimpico is caught up in a web of uncertainty.



Roma have confirmed that they have approached Sevilla over a possible deal for the former Juventus and West Bromwich Albion midfielder but have refused to diverge anything else on the matter.
