Aimar move hits a snag

Aimar move hits a snag

07 July 2008 - 14:35

It appears that Pablo Aimar's move from Real Zaragoza to Benfica has hit a financial snag; as it appears that two clubs have made last minute offers for the talented Argentinian midfielder.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • “What I can say is that everything is the same as we have been saying for the past few days. Contact does exist, the exchanging of papers, but nothing is definite. We can speak of Benfica, just like we can speak of the Greeks and the English. They say that Rui Costa was here, but until now, nothing,” confessed the Zaragoza executive, Luis Sol.

Aimar's agent Mascardi said: “Benfica’s interest is real, but what is also very important is that Benfica need to give Pablo the contract that he wants and give the money that Zaragoza is asking for him as well.”
