Toulouse set Betis a deadline

07 July 2008 - 23:36

French club Toulouse has set a warning to Spanish club Real Betis about their highly rated Cameroonian international Achille Emana.

  • Chelsea defender on his way to Leeds United?
  • Chelsea ready to hand Nicolas Jackson fresh chance
  • Betis has been keen on signing Emana, who has played in the last two African Cup of Nations, and even made a 6 million euro bid for the player last month.

But that bid was rejected by Toulouse who say that they want more cash for the player. Toulouse president Oliver Ladran said on Monday:

“Emana will remain in Toulouse unless the offer improves."

It is reported that Ukranian giants Dynamo Kiev are also interested in Emana and have made an offer already.
