Hull City are ready to test Portsmouth's resolve this summer for talented French defender Noe Pamarot. It is understood that Hull could pay as much as £3 million to land the French player.
Hull have already added Geovanni and George Boateng to their ranks, but are keen to bring in more Premiership experience in.
"Noe's here and if he played he wouldn't let you down," Redknapp told The News.
"He's done a great job. I think a Premier League club made an offer for him.
"Hull were interested in him."
