Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko's mother has revealed that the player had no intention of joining Spurs this summer from Spartak Moscow, and would've preferred a move to Lokomotiv Moscow instead.

  • “Roman was sold by the club,” she said, according to the Daily Telegraph, “He didn't want to go to England or leave Russia. It was 100 per cent Spartak Moscow's decision to sell him.



    “I know for sure he's ready to return to Russia anytime.”
