Ince wants Santa Cruz calm

07 November 2008 - 07:04

Paul Ince wants all of the media speculation that Roque Santa Cruz could be leaving Blackburn to stop. Ince is keen to keep the talented striker at Ewood Park, despite the interest of Arsenal and Tottenham.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • Asked if he was worried about Santa Cruz leaving, the manager told Sky Sports News: "Not at all - this is not about Roque, this is about Blackburn Football Club.

"I am sick and tired of seeing reports in the paper about Roque. It ain't going to go away but it doesn't affect me, it doesn't affect Roque.

"As I've said, he's signed a new contract, he's happy here, we're happy with him and that's the end of the subject."
