Nantes chase Wiltord?

Nantes are reportedly ready to sign former Arsenal star Sylvain Wiltord from Rennes. It is understood the player is keen to move elsewhere so that he is guaranteed first team football.

"We've never hidden that if we wanted to take on a player Sylvain would obviously be one of those who interested us," he said.



"He's someone who has more experience than anyone around, who knows the league well, and who fits more than ever into the group of attacking players who would bring us something extra.



"We know very well that it's never easy to recruit players at this time of year. However, it's true that Sylvain is not playing much at the moment and he could have the approval of Rennes (to make the move)."
