Andy Cole, the former Manchester United striker, has announced his retirement from football after his contract with his hometown club, Nottingham Forest, was terminated by mutual consent.
Andrew Cole, once considered as one of the most prolific goal scorers in the Premier League has finally announced his retirement as a player from football. The 37 year old had been playing for Nottingham Forest lately, his poor striking form forced the management to terminate his contract on a mutual consent.
But, Cole has no regrets about his rewarding career that brought his five Premier League wins, two FA Cups and one Champions League. The accomplished Englishman has scored 289 goals in 646 appearances for 12 clubs.
