Bolton boss Gary Megson has admitted that he is on the look out for new players in the January transfer window if at all possible.
He told the club's official website: "We are getting towards the transfer window now and the numbers in the squad is something that we have got to try and rectify.
"At the same time, it's got to be quality as we don't want to bring players in for the sake of it, but we won't get through the second half of the season with the squad at the size that it is.
"We know the names of players that we would like to bring in, but it's not at always that simple.
"It's harder bringing players in in January than it is in July.
"We're looking down a lot of different avenues but as you get closer to the window then names upon names get thrown in."
