Boyd: I nearly left Rangers

Rangers striker Kris Boyd has revealed that he very nearly quit the club during the summer. Boyd was frustrated with his lack of first-team opportunity, but is now happy after contributing 13 goals this year.

Boyd quipped: "I thought maybe my time was up and I'd have to move on.



"I thought about it over the summer but decided to give it another shot. I didn't want to walk away and give up on the club I love as easy as that.



"I've always wanted to play here and be a part of success. I got a taste of that last season and want more this year."
