Barcelona midfielder Xavi has revealed that AC Milan had made an offer for him when he was a youngster. Xavi turned down the offer, and the rest is history.
Xavi revealed that the main motivation for even considering a move was the offer of more money.
Xavi revealed: "My father and my agent were involved. I spoke to (Adriano) Galliani and he offered me twice the money I was getting at Barca.
"But my family and especially my mother, who was the most against this move, were decisive in me choosing to stay."
