Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill is keen to add more faces to his side, as he admitted that the club could well miss out on Champions League qualification if they fail to invest in new faces.
Villa have been linked with a host of names this January transfer window, and it is understood Villa would like to sign both a defender and a midfielder to improve their chances.
"That is what we want to try and do," said O'Neill.
"I don't think we could keep going in the fashion that we have been doing."
