Celtic have reportedly taken German defender Stephan Kling on trial. Gordon Strachan is reportedly evaluating whether or not to make a permanent move for the 27 year old.

Currently at Austrian minnows SC Rheindorf Altach, the player had a lengthy spell in the Bundesliga where he impressed three years ago.



Kling started his career with Bayern Munich, before making a move to Hamburg.



Kling represented the Germany under-21 side.
