Dhorasoo back in action

Dhorasoo back in action

01 April 2009 - 14:07

Former AC Milan player, Vikash Dhorasoo, has announced his comeback to top flight football. He will join a top club in Indian Football's i-League.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • The former French International has expressed his desire to go to India and play football there in the i-League - India's professional football league.

He is visiting, New Delhi, to play a charity match along with Renedy Singh to help the 'hunt for India's rising stars'.

Many clubs have approached Dhorasoo, he said "I've been approached by several Indian clubs since my trip to Delhi was made public and I was quite overwhelmed to see their interest. Finally I thought about a comeback and I gave my nod to an offer after consulting friends and family.

I'll be signing the contract with the club during my stay in Delhi and I will let you know the club name as soon as the deal is signed. They are a very good team according to the information I have been able to gather and I feel my decision to make a comeback on the football pitch in India will hopefully be a big boost for the game of football in India! I'm looking forward to the new chapter in my life".

Hopefully this will help the Indian Football League.
