Aquilani eyes Roma stay

Roma midfielder Alberto Aquilani has insisted that he has no intentions of leaving the club. There had been rumours that both Arsenal and Real Madrid were chasing the Italian central midfielder.

Aquilani said: "With the club, I have a good relationship going on for ever and it is not a problem, we are absolutely in agreement on the renewal of the contract and it will be formalized shortly.



"I have always said that the contract was, not for me, a big problem. I'm calm and sure of my potential, the contract will take of itself."
