Cardiff City midfielder Joe Ledley has reportedly told close friends that he would be willing to make a move to the Premiership if Cardiff cannot make the top tier of English football soon.
Cardiff City chairman Peter Ridsdale confirmed that the player is likely to leave soon, and the club's financial worries could also see the player leave shortly.
âJoe is out of contract during the summer of 2010 and we cannot allow ourselves to get into a position where he could walk away from Cardiff City at the end of next season,â he said in the South Wales Echo.
âOur offer is still open for us to sit down for talks on a new contract.â
