Burnley are reportedly keen on signing former Sochaux central defender Rabiu Afolabi this summer as they begin their preparation for life in the Premiership for the first time ever.

Rabiu Afolabi has spent over five years in the French league with Sochaux. Before that, he was a regular with Austria Vienna.



The 29 year old is described as a tough tackling, combative defender, very well suited for the pace and demands of the English game.
