FC Groningen striker Marcus Berg has revealed that talk of a move away from the club to Ajax is very premature, and that the Swedish international is more than happy to stay at Groningen.
Berg has been outstanding in the Under-21 championships for Sweden, seeing his stock rise and a number of clubs monitoring his progress.
Ajax were one of the sides apparently interested in the player.
"My agent also hasn't heard a thing," he told Sportweek. "I would imagine the clubs, if they really were negotiating a deal, would contact me. I am fully focused on the European championships.
"We will see what happens when it ends."
